WARBE Development Foundation is a non-profitable; Community Based Grassroots Migrants’ Organization. WARBE Development Foundation has been established exclusively by returnee migrants with the commitment to foster the development and betterment of the migrants’ communities in Bangladesh. WARBE DF took the pioneer role in Bangladesh as migrant workers’ association to deal with the issues of migrants’ rights and welfare. The organization is determined to support the women and men emigrating/emigrated whether documented or not for employment purpose by overcoming the lack of awareness, the injustices, discrimination and Human Rights Violations.

WARBE intervenes since its inception at the grassroots level within migrants’ communities in order to promote safe migration, sustainable reintegration and migrants’ Rights by the means of awareness meetings, counseling, orientation and trainings. The organization also works in close partnership with national, regional and international organizations in line with global development and protection of migrant workers and takes part in different platforms and networks.


Recent News and Events
National Seminar on “Women’s Safe Migration and Development” was held at Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) Auditorium, Dhaka on 31st December 2009. Seminar has been participating by the representative from different GOs, NGOs, Private Sector, Trade Union, and Migrants Associations, also individual migrants and representative of International Organizations and to discuss about all kinds of issues and possible solutions regarding women safe migration and development as well as labor migration from Bangladesh and their socio-economic development.
